- This update will
correct connectivity issues with Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0
-
- The most notable
issues have been:
- A)
Inability to connect to the DVR on the first try
- B)
Inability to scroll through an event playback list
- C) Add
program/server communication stability

- SLD251 DVR update
instructions:
-
- 1) Download
the update file to your computer. The file name is "SLD-251(V1.9).bin",
and can be downloaded by right clicking here
and using the "save as" command. Please note the location/file folder in
which you save the update.

- 2) Connect to
your SLD251 using your web browser as you would normally.

- 3) After you
have connected, click on the CONFIGURATION button near the lower right
hand portion of the screen.

- 4) The
following screen will appear after clicking the configuration button.
Click on the button "Firmware Update" in the middle of the screen.

- 5) The
following screen will appear. Click on "Browse" and locate the update
file that you saved to your computer in step one. After you have
identified and selected the file "SLD-251(V1.9).bin" on your computer,
click the upload button.

- 6) The
following screen will appear. When ready, click on the button to begin
the firmware update

- 7) The update
file will be loaded into the DVR and a progress bar will appear as shown
below. After the update is complete, follow the on screen instruction to
reboot your browser.

- 8) You will
also have to manually dis-connect and then reconnect the power to the
DVR for the update to be complete.

- Your web
browser window will display "DVR Video Server (V1.8-SL) at the top when
you reconnect to the DVR. This is the correct version for this update.
